Breendonk: the only concentration camp in Belgium

"Passer-by,
respect this place,
3,500 prisoners suffered here
164 were shot
21 were hanged
about a hundred died from torcher and exhaustion"

new home.

Farewell Chantal, Philippe and Maxime...
Photobucket
(okay, I have A LOT of stuff. call me materialistic, I'm okay with that. I'll figure it out in 6 months when I have to actually fit it back into two suitcases)

...and hello Fabienne, Jean-Michel, Thomas, Pierre, Louise and Constance!

I'll get more up soon, it is a beautiful house/property with a stream going right by the house. From behind the house, I can see my old house up on the hill. Not too far at all. Jean-Michel and Philippe are cousins. I stay in the family. It is definitely a different lifestyle living in a big family, like herding caddle to get anything done! I don't know how they do it, Fabienne is a doctor and commutes, while still making homemade bread and fresh squeezed orange juice every morning. mmm. Thomas is my age and gone during the week at University and comes home for the weekend. Pierre is 14 and goes to my school. Constance and Louise are 8 and 10 and ADORABLE. Always making sure I have everything I need.

Alright, more pictures soon, food now. Goodbye.
